On the day he takes charge of the Manchester United v Chelsea title showdown, bizarre footage has emerged apparently showing Howard Webb leading singing of Liverpool anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.
The footage appears to show Webb, 39, getting on stage and picking up a baton to conduct the Anfield anthem, with fellow ref Mike Dean also in attendance. The Rotherham official, who took charge of last year's World Cup final, also sings along to the delight of what appears to be an elderly crowd.
The video, thought to be from a referees' convention staged in 2009 seems to explode the myth that Webb is a Manchester United fan, as controversially Tweeted by former Liverpool striker Ryan Babel last January.

Yeah, I watched that video too, luckily Babel left Liverpool or I'm sure the English Press would surely grind him over his comment on Webb being a United fan.
