I've had two different dreams recently. A few days ago, I had a dream where I was reading Tannisho while sitting on the floor in my room. There wasn't anything special about this dream, other than the fact that I was very content with just sitting and reading.
It didn't make sense to me much until last night. I had another dream, where I was sitting in the same place in my room as the dream I had a few nights ago. Only in this dream, I was surrounded by a ring of fire, sitting in the center. In the circle, I had Buddhist teachings with me (non-specific), and I was calling out to others to join me so that they could reach the teachings. While others were safe on the outside, and I was in a small circle, trapped by flames on all sides, one by one, people jumped through the fire, into my circle to be with me.
Thinking of my dream, I recall Shan Tao's words,
"Even though the great thousandfold world be filled with fire, Pass through immediately to hear the Buddha's Name! Those who hear the Name, rejoice, and praise, Will all attain birth in that land."

What a wonderful dream the second one was. It really resounds to what is written in the Larger Sutra and the works of Master Shan-dao and Shinran Shonin.
