Rite? Besides, I find it much easier when I converse to patients... I used to grow up without the knowledge of Mandarin and Cantonese, but I picked it up along the way in KL and from the patients. It was wonderful that the patients did not really laughed at me when I was indeed trying very hard (sweating excessively) to converse to them in Chinese. I can't find the right words, but eventually I did, it took me quite long...

White = Pak Sek

actually very hard lah cos the terminology is not really there. even a effectively bilingal person maybe not be able to say whats platelets in cantonese or chinese cos you wont know unless you studied in china......
i've seen some of the chinese books those chinamen use as text.... can't understand most of the terms in there -
No lar. It's alright. I just felt that he was a little bit too fast in coming to his conclusion. Especially the part when he generalize until that final year med students would have forgotten things they have learnt in the first year. Yeah... and surprisingly the patient's relatives did not even smirked... I thought they would have laughed their arses off, hahaa.. maybe when they get home or when I turn my back lar... but they were quite grateful coz the doctor in charge of them did not actually gave them an explanation of why the patient was admitted for 1 month and still no sign of improvement.Originally posted by hisoka:

He suffered from a condition called the Myelodysplastic Syndrome, it's a condition that happens or occurs before entering to the stage of blood cancer... or leukemia. -
