Another one which we saw in the movies is the injection of an empty syringe where the air created enters the blood stream and is called an air embolism... it can damage the heart and the lungs and causes a tear in the pulmonary capillaries... -

Oh yeah... just found out that Pavulon is Pancuronium... should be the same group under Suxamethonium which induces a muscle relaxant effect so that the patient won't struggle... -

yeah muscle relaxant..:
Pavulon is a muscle relaxant used in surgical anesthesia. In large doses it can paralyze breathing muscles and cause respiratory failure. It is not a drug that might be used in intensive care. -

We tried... with teddy bear, with promises that he will get to play computer games, with promises that he will get a new toy, with promises that his mom will be there, with promises that he can bite his mom's finger if it is too pain... but all didn't work out... he was rather hysterical liau at that time... jumping up and down and wouldn't let anyone touched him... some of the nurses got kicked... arbish! darn powerful man...Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Wah!!!!!!!!!! btw the school one not pain one,cause they got give u the tingy to make ur there numb,so when the actual extraction come,no more pain liao..so its just 2 regular needles first.. -
