I think you must have grown out of your heart murmur...
Did your doctor mentioned anything about fluid overload or big heart in your files or records?
If it is not, then I presume that your racing heart beat should not be due to your cardiac past history...
You probably have a condition called General Anxiety Disorder...Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Topic closed, so post here.
Answers: Nothing said about fluid overload or big heart.

I shall leave this question to the floor...
i wanted to ask this: they say during menstration, gals shouldnt drink green tea or take pineapple and watermelon. true or not> and why ah???
Actually I have always heard from my mom that pineapple and tea will cause a heavier flow during menstruation, so if u dun wan to have a messy period, avoid these two at all costOriginally posted by renorenal:Here is one of the questions that I personally have no idea of as this is part of homeopathy practice, and this is posted by forumnite starblue

Thank you rainee. It is very useful.Originally posted by rainee:
I am really not that sure about this...Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Read another website about MRI. It talks about T1 and T2, but I see no difference between them. Is there any difference between them?
Clinically, I may know very little about it... but what I know goes like this... I may be wrong...Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Today learning how MRI machines work. But don't understand. Who can help?
actually u are referring to MRI or fMRI?Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Read another website about MRI. It talks about T1 and T2, but I see no difference between them. Is there any difference between them?
My school says it is MRI.Originally posted by alfagal:actually u are referring to MRI or fMRI?
recently studying on fMRI and doing a project on it now..
FMRI scans use the same basic principles of atomic physics as MRI scans, but MRI scans image anatomical structure whereas FMRI image metabolic function. Thus, the images generated by MRI scans are like three dimensional pictures of anatomic structure. The images generated by FMRI scans are images of metabolic activity within these anatomic structures.
T1:The amount of time it takes for for the atoms to return to their equilibrium value is called the "spin lattice relaxation time" or (T1). T1 is thus, a measure of the half-life of inverted spins. (in 2-D, imagine the magnetic force changing from a 90 deg direction to 0 deg)
T2:The amount of time it takes for for the atoms to return to their equilibrium magnetization value along XY axis (transverse axis) is called the "spin-spin relaxation time" or T2. T2 is, as a result, measures the rate of change of spin phases. (in 2-D, imagine the magnetic force changing from 0 deg to 90 deg)
alright then, as stated abv, they use e same physics to do MRI n fMRI, definitions for T1 and T2 shld still stand. jus tat MRI is focused on anatomy, fMRI is more on funtions or metabolism of e whatever is being scaned.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:My school says it is MRI.
