  May Bank has opened a branch in Citivibe at the former location of the $1.80 chicken rice shop.

  7-eleven has opened a branch at the former location (ie the unit just next to the lift at level 1) of the jewellery shop at Clementi Mall.

  Three famous dou huai shops have opened in Clementi. 

  Shop 51 from old airport has opened at 2 units from Koi 

  Shop lau bun frm geylang has opened on level 1 Citivibe.

  Shop Ah Mum Keng has also opened another branch in Clementi.

  There is a craze on dou huai going on in Clementi, be it the mango, durian or original flavor dou huai.

  the soy pudding is horrible.. give me the original soy bean curd anytime.. without sugar syrup...

  Indeed, pure dou huai or bean curd is more healthy. But the owners of these three shops are having brisk sales of their dou huai and often run out of stock of the popular flavor. Even the sales at koi shop are affected significantly ie the ever long queue at the clementi Koi shop is no longer long now.

  not really lor..I think there are a lot more popular shops...Clementi got 3 licensed moneylender in just 2 weeks time.WTH..Clementi got a lot of poor people meh and also got 5-6 pawnshop...This one still ok...

  you know the state of the economy when these places and pawnshops thrive...

  i think in jurong east and many other town centres also like that.. the infestation of these licensed ah-long is scary

  United Oerseas Bank UOB has shifted to level 2 Cityvibe.

  At the former Bengawan Solo location, a new saloon has opened.

  Next to it, a new clothing shop has opened.

  Seven eleven shop moves to the unit next to the ground level Spa Shop in the

  Clementi Mall.

  While the jewellery shop Gold heart takes over the existing unit of the Seven

  Eleven Shop.

  There are 2 new durian sellers in Clementi Central.

  The previous building of Empress Cinema has been completely demolished now.

  The new cinema complex should be up soon as SBS9252G said the complex will be

  completed in Q4 2013.
