What is the differences between Executive Summary and Intro?

Hi guys, I'm doing an assignment on consumer behaviour with the following question:
Discuss why the understanding of consumer decision-making will assist marketers in their design of their marketing strategy. Show with examples.
I'm not asking for advise on the project instead i just want know what is the differences between a Executive Summary and an Introduction?
These two seems similar but i think there's a difference between them.
Can anyone please tell me the difference before i actually start writing it? Thanks

An executive summary is the summary of everything you have written. Thus, it's probably wise to write it after you have completed the essay.
The introduction is just an opening, like state what objectives you are going to achieve, etc. -

some people usually like to write executive summary into two three pages
especially those lousy reports i seen from government webby
try to make them short and sweet
like, for example, these are our problems, these our solutions and using certain criterias, these are our recommendations, period -

Conclusion is to sum up the body, and say that the objectives you set out in the intro have been met.
