Anyone knows any good free to use Databases?

  Hi guys,
  Hmm... i have been dealing with my Management project last time and i realised that many of the company info are not disclose in books or even if they do, they are usually not updated unless we use databases to search for them.
  
  Other than going to the library, to spend on the database, is there any free and nice database u guys can recommend?

  personally.. i actually signed up with a stockbroking firm ... to get companies info
  
  additionally... search their business propectus and annual reports
  
  also use scholar.google.com to search for case studies in the case of big firms

  Hmm...The resources I have (sorry to say), are from the school's library, online resources, so you've to be a student to use it

  good and updated db are never free.
  
  unless u count those directories like greenbook, yellowpages, eguide to be db
  
  but the most they give u is the co. name, address, phone lumber and the sales or admin email
  some dun even have websites
  and the db is not updated
  u find companies tt long ceased operations, phone lumbers tt are no longer in use
  
  good db with updated information, the name and email/DID of LOBs, CXOs dun come cheap...
  but u get the ppl u want.....

  yup, that's very true. But what are the db that u think are recommended to be used for research? becoz sometimes i really wonder if its worthly for me to try them one by one
