Salmon VS salmon Scale-on

  I went to NTUC and saw two different types of price tag for salmon. One is labelled "Norway Salmon" $25.90/KG and another "Norway Salmon Scale-on" for $23.90/KG. What is the difference anyone?

  one is with scales...

  the other is without scales???

  Would you believe they ask you to pay 2 bucks more a kilo just to help you descale the damn fish? They should just sell all varieties descaled. Who buys fish to descale them at home? It'll be dumber to buy fish fillets and descale them at home, try it, its close to impossible.

  "scale-on" don't ever saw that in supermarket before.

  Giant had a real sale on recently .....

  norway salmon at 99 cents/100gram .....

  have to get whole fish though ...
