Actually this case is possible, because the aberdeen ad isn't placed above EVERY door. The most obvious is if they connect one half with int. ad and the other w/o it.
Wonder what'd happen if they connect half with STARIS and the other half w/o...
Btw, 123/124 was the 40th train to be refurbished while 125/126 was the 21st, but 125/126 looks cleaner.
In the future they connect 3053/1222/2302/2301/1221/3054.
STARIS/C651/C751B/C751B/C651/STARIS

STARIS/C651/C751B/C751B/C651/STARIS
I was wanting to say that... But do C651, C751B, and C151 have the same buffers?
hope tmr have also :B
ytd i saw that as well on NSL: it was like half train with the police window ad but other hlaf was blank
ok 123/126 and 124/125 can just stay forever like that, most unique cases.. hope the TOs or the MOs wont look at it...
hint: 123/126 the number are divisible by 3, but 124/125 are not
wait wait wait guys!!!. I'm new to this whole train spotting thing. so what am i suppose to see in here?

See the train numbers.
Normally, the train numbers are made up of odd and even numbers. The odd number is always the smaller one.
Let n be the odd number. The train will be:
XXn/XXn + 1
E.g. 123 is the odd number. The train number will be 123+1=124. Therefore the train will be 123/124. However this train was coupled wrongly and became 123/126 and 124/125.
Oh ok ty now i understand... But this doesn't really happen?

Ok, here's what happened on 02/05/09.
NSL RATIS showed 1 min to arrival, and the train came in from the other side, from UPD. I saw 3124 carriage approaching. I didnt know then that it was actually 124/125 connected tgt. The train left, and I still did not notice it being 124/125.
The next train arrived, as per normal. I saw 3123 carriage coming in!!! I was thinking like, how is it possible that "123/124" went forward then came back again??? As the train moved, I followed it, and when it came to 2123...then 2126!!! I was totally shocked, because such incidences are completely rare. Then, I recalled that in the ART forum, Oceane once said that he saw 080/128 coupled tgt b4.
What I think is that, they must have accidentally coupled 123/126 tgt, then they noticed it and sent out 124/125 to NSL so that both are on the same line, and they would couple back the original carriages that night, since it would be impossible to do so during the day.
what is UPD?

Yes, but you see, these incidences almost DO NOT occur at all, that's why we're so excited over this issue (123/126 and 124/125).
