Question about PSP Modification

  Hummh... I am confuse.
  I wanna modify my PSP but i am confuse by others telling me to downgrade.
  THen another hand pool of friends say it's upgrade..
  
  My PSP Set is Version 3.30
  So it's down or upgrade huh ?
  Some say there is a version that is not possible to modify unless change the whole board ? Is mine ?
  
  If software modify can we do ourselves ?
  Is it very diff ??

  u're using the official firmware i assume, which doesn't allow u to play friendly games
  
  to modify it so tat u can play friendly games u need to first downgrade to version 1.50 using the pandora's battery... then upgrade to the latest custom firmware 3.71 m33-4...
  
  u can make your own pandora's battery by googling for guides... quite a long process...but u'll need a homebrew enabled psp...alternatively go to some ah beng shops... pay a small fee to let them do it for u

  upgrade to 3.71 M33.
  
  downgrade is the old term, cos hackers have managed to release new mod firmware so u dun have to downgrade to an older, unpatched version.

  Anyway tks everybody. i have manage to get it upgrade to 3.71 M33 and have find my way thru net to download games etc.. now i am playing with the set. hee... I love PSP heeee
