Question regarding Naruto anime (Expert only) Spoiler

From the anime, was Gaara's father the foruth Kazekage? His father ordered to kill Gaara when he was young but failed. In the Chunin competition, the Sand first ally with Orochimaru and attacked Konohagakure. Was that foruth Kazekage when he was killed by Orochimaru along the way? If so, I thought you have to be very strong in order to get the title 'Kage'.
After killing the Kazekage, Orochimaru successfully killed Third Hokage too.. which made him killing the 'Kage' spree? If the foruth kazekage was good enough to injure Orochimaru, there's no chance he could kill Hokage as he's been into two 'kage' level of ninja fighting right?
Anyway, how can the Sand being place in one of the Five Strongest Hidden Village when their Third Kazekage was seen as the strongest among the Sand Village killed by Sasori?

Garra's father was killed by Oro meh? I know Orochimaru killed the kazekage and then acted as him, but was it Garra's father? I'm not sure but i think they didn't mention it although i won't know.
I'm not sure where was said that Orochimaru got injured by the Kazekage. But Orochimaru is definitely in the Kage level, as one time the 3rd even wanted to hand the title over to him and he's among the same class as Tsunade and Jiraiya which the former eventually becoming the 5th. And besides the 3rd is already very old his body couldn't take it, plus Orochimaru went on to research many forbidden jutsus.
This is what i think, the Sand is one of the bigger villages and thats why its considered among the 5th strongest. Another thing to note that is that the Kage need not be the strongest as there are other qualities to choose from as well including leadership. And why can't Sasori be stronger then him?

interesting questions... yes 4th was gaara's dad... yes he was the one who got killed by oro... ya even tho hes a hokage dun mean hes invinsible... yes oro do hv a killing "kage"spree.. if u look at it, oro did had help from kimmimaro so the fight was much easier for oro...
last question... y cannot? sasori is S class n hes also the grand master in puppet... hes a genius too so anything can happen...
to sum up, in naruto anyone can b defeated... unless u r talking abt sasuke...

I thought they just showed the dead body of the Kazekage.

even Sasori is S class ninja, he also attempted many time to kill 3rd Kazekage n succeed in the end.

ya got... when kimmi was hving those pre death flashbacks(or pre final move hype) got show oro thanking kimmi for making the killing easy after stabbing the 4th... after tat kimmi collapse coughing out blood... -
