  Not sure if ODEX has committed "Extortion" in section 383 of the Penal Code.
  
  The illustration given by the Penal Code is about threat of defamation suit, whereas ODEX has threatened reporting their case to police if they don't pay up a certain amount of money. The injury cited in the Penal Code includes physical and otherwise. Sounds more or less an extortion to me.
