Let's hope my test order from amazon gets to me sucessfully. My last attempt to order DVDs from them years ago was unsuccessful (got a message saying they cannot ship to singapore), although I had no problems with my CD shipments

Problem is, the region 1 stuff isn't cheap. but the quality is WAY better than the crap sold by Odex. Still I've spent far more obscene amounts of money on japan-pressed anime soundtracks.
However, I could never afford all this as a student. Last time at least for soundtracks I could buy the SM label ones, and anime could be rented (there was a shop or two renting them during the 90s, now no more already right?)
