  Lately i receive an email from one of the anime website that i have register at, and there is this darn good function that have been provided by them and it is megaupload premium link generator
  
  but the link generator is offline now, it is around 8 am to 5 pm everyday
  
  and it works fine for me, http://daiphyer.com/megaupload.com/premium/link/generator

  I tweak my Firefox a bit and no need premium generator.
  
  In Firefox's address bar, type in about:config
  
  Scroll down to general.useragent.extra.firefox
  
  Right click on it, select Modify. Copy and paste this value in: Firefox/2.0 MEGAUPLOAD 1.0

  XP got 2 versions: Home and Pro. Pro has got much more options when it comes to tweaking.
  
  So far, I have no problems with Megaupload... within 12 hours.
  
  Right click My Computer, select Properties.
  
  Select the General tab.
  
  Under System, you will see this:
  
  Microsoft Windows XP
  Professional or Home
  Version 2002
  Service Pack 1 or 2 or no service packs if you didn't update
  
  The second line "Professional or Home" will tell you which version you are using...

  mine is professional, version 2002 service pack 2... so still got hope?

  Got, but whether it works... I don't know. I hardly touch MS apps.
  
  Click on Start > Run
  
  Type in gpedit.msc
  
  On the left hand side, click on + sign to expand User Configuration.
  
  Click on + sign to expand Windows Settings.
  
  Click on + sign to expand Internet Explorer Maintenance.
  
  Select Connection.
  
  On your right hand side, double click User Agent String.
  
  Tick the Customize string to be appended to user agent string box.
  
  In the text box, copy and paste this in: Firefox/2.0 MEGAUPLOAD 1.0
  
  Click OK to apply the settings.
  
  Then try downloading from Megaupload...

  OK, tested. It works on IE7.
  
  IE6 should be the same.
  
  It doesn't remove the countdown timer... not that long anyway.

  Don't know. Anyway, it doesn't work with Starhub... Singnet users works pretty well.

  huh.. still dont understand..twited it..but didnt work leh..the thing still count down then error ..restart dont let me download.

  This one is bypass the country slot limit, so no need install toolbar.
