What makes a good anime that is worthwhile to watch? Must it be mecha or dark sinister storyline attract our attention
Recently, i have watched massive of mecha anime, and frankly speaking, i am getting sick and tired of it, and still i am following those series, and why? because this is a habit, it is still decent enough for me to watch
i am not really a big fan of clamp but code geass is really damn good
and now, we have darker than black, title, itself already suggest that it has a dark storyline, and we have Byosoku 5cm that appear to be a good anime movie, long distance love story
out of the new release, there are only a few , that is consider as excellent, the rest, is good
but i am an anime junkie - so i basically watch almost everything, recently i got hooked to plot which is similar to with hunter robin - i can't understand why i am downloading NHG again, maybe i want to give this anime a try again
so what really attract your attention in picking up an anime series to watch? -
Anime hav to be impressive and with a good solid plot...
l dun like tose funny funny funny all the way de...like no story plot.
last time..l am juz like u ..allen...got wad anime..then watch...anime junkie..l could say
but now l really cnt...the anime hav to be interesting and attractive enuf to put me to sit in front of it and watch

l must say...damn impressive sia...l like the anime. This anime is not like tose anime..u see..using kawaii gals to attract u to watch or wad...this is really a guy anime sia..with blood and fighting

A very thrilling, horror, suspense show..requires u to tink and tink and keep wondering and figuring what on earth is happening
for these 2 years..

wanna watch saint seiya but l cnt borrowed the cd...all my frenz dun hav -

I'm not into the scene as much as you guys but here's my own take.
Character design - I tends to leans towards those character design in Anime like Gundam 0080 & Black Lagoon. Carries more emotion expressions.
Storyline/Plot: I guessed for most of us, a decent storyline/plot is quite essential considering most anime carries more than 6 episodes and you dun wanna watch all of it and end up without a clue.
Besides these two points, I oso look into the illustrative direction... background scenes and such. The use of 3D form (esp in Mecha).. whether issit relevant or blends well with the rest of the scenes. Can't help it cos I'm a very visual person.
