Plot: Answering the call of the “Gold Race”, all the sentient races launch into space. The human race is the last to launch, and are thus known as the “Iron Race”. Much time has passed since then, and humanity is threatened with extinction at the hands of the more dominant “Silver Race”. In order to save her people, Queen Deianeira sets out on a journey to a galaxy far away, following the prophecies of the Gold Race handed down by the royal family. Then, she meets a boy named Eiji. Their encounter will change the fate of the universe...

this mecha anime has a excellent storyline, and the mecha is abit over powered, you have to watch it, then you will understand
this is one of the good mecha anime that has been release so far, for the spring 07 -
Why Herioc Age....
Age is the name of the 'saviour' and main character in this series. Yes, concurred with the Mecha rather over powering. Too destructive... so to speak.
But will still follow since the next episode will see the Silver tribe in action. -

its not really a mech ,the guy just sort of transform into a powerful entity that maybe look like a mech(more like an overpower version of guyver to me), first few episodes quite interesting so far.Originally posted by stellazio:dun really enjoy mecha anime.. -
On the surface, the storyline looked simple.
Humans accidentally bumped into Age and then he became their saviour against irritating Bronze tribe who always find time to attack the ship. But everytime, Age goes to their rescue.
But it became clear that there is more than meets the usual eye. What exactly is Silver tribe's intention? What actually did happened to Gold tribe? It is beginning to look quite interesting.
