The melancholy of haruhi suzumiya..Comedy with abit of Love story twist around..would need to read the novel to get a better understanding though..

i hope the artist starts a new series on kenshin's son. he got talked about it in one of the manga commentary, if there should be one. and dat was years before. -

Cowboy Bebop is also damned good...
starts off light hearted and funny.. poignant sometimes...
then around episode 22, it gets really dark...
watch the movie for why it becomes sombre.. but both the movie and the series can stand by themselves...
and then it gets really sad... if you think about the story... it is a thinking person's anime... -

the tv showed 95 episodes.. if you can get the DVD Boxed Set for the series, there is a 96th episode that is so beautiful, i was smiling as i watched it...

wiki inside says got this leh. anybody read it before.
An encyclopedia (164 pages), including Haru ni Sakura, detailing the fates of all of the Rurouni Kenshin characters.
Haru ni Sakura is six pages long and in full color. The story takes place years after the manga's conclusion, when Kenshin and Kaoru have married and have a young son, Kenji. Many of the series' major characters who have befriended Kenshin reunite (or otherwise reveal their current whereabouts) with him in a spring picnic.
