The Orchid Seed version is definitely very, um, interesting! From what I gather, they supply a separate piece of clothing that covers the chest area, so the figurine can be displayed in polite company.
I know it might be 'Ignis overkill,' but I'm keeping an eye out for listings on eBay for that particular figurine.
anway u are right, there's an additional piece of clothing to cover up the nipples. hehe, i'll also be looking out for the Orchid Seed here in Singapore.

Not Ignis-related, but have you seen the soon-to-be-released Alter figurine of Revy from the anime Black Lagoon?
This figurine is hot beyond words, and it's probably going to be my next purchase.

I 'won' mine on eBay from a dealer in New York State for US$42.95 plus US$12.95 in shipping. When the package arrived, the postage label showed only US$5.82, so the a$$hole dealer obviously padded his shipping cost.
Oh well, it was still cheaper than purchasing it from an on-line retailer, where this Ignis figurine typically goes for US$60 or higher (plus shipping). -

More Ignis goodness, this time courtesy of Orchid Seed:
Compared to the versions of Ignis by Alter and Max Factory, I must admit that I was rather disappointed with the lack of dynamism in the pose that Orchid Seed chose for their rendition.
The camera used was my trusty Canon PowerShot S3 IS, with natural lighting and a black posterboard for the background. -
nice shots. yes i agree that this orchid seed version lacks dynamism in the pose as compared to the max factory version which seems to be the favourite among collectors.
anyway i have won the same figure on yahoo auction today. but still wanting for the seller to contact me.

You're right about the MF version of Ignis being the choice of collectors. There are a ton of reviews of it on the net, but almost none for the OS version.
Congrats on winning the Yahoo auction! Do you mind my asking how much you paid for it? Please post some pictures of it when it arrives, yah?
I paid a total of US$52.98 (inclusive of shipping) for the OS Ignis. -

anyway although this orchid seed version is not so well recieved as compared to the MF version, i find that it is still a decent figure if not for its lack of a better pose. -
I agree. For one, the hair colour of the OS Ignis is the most vibrant of the three. Did you notice the hair on the Alter version was almost purple?Originally posted by Gordonator:i sure did.

I do not think I shall be getting the Bome version as the facial features on it look... funny. The eyes, especially, look wrong, and the pose is not dynamic at all.
Saw your Saber figurine in the other thread... blardy hell, now you have me cruising eBay to see if I can get one at a decent price. You are a bad influence.
