Are you plotting something?Originally posted by alexkusu:Btw MG, is your collection insured? Just wondering you know...anything can happen....ANYTHING at all....
Insurance for my anime DVD collection? Hmm... never really thought about that. The Homeowner's Policy I have insures contents within the house up to a certain amount at replacement value, and the DVDs would, I assume, fall under that coverage.Originally posted by alexkusu:Btw MG, is your collection insured? Actually, 400 anime DVDs and LDs isn't all that much; I belong to an informal anime club that meets every other weekend, and a couple of the "members" have upwards of 1000 anime DVDs in their collections.

[b]KING MEIA!!!!
Please, Your Majesty! O King Meia! Take me under your wing as a subject and save me from the fate of the frog that dwells in the well!

If you're referring to Leopold Scorpus (firearms-related reference: Leupold Scopes), he's the official/unofficial "comedy relief" of the series and, in my opinion, didn't really add much to the overall plot of the series.Originally posted by Bontakun:The show is so~~~~~~~~~~~~ weird. I like da young man in da armor "trying" to protect her.
Doesnt matter, I like his way to life and his goal. Single minded-ness towards it with no twist or doubt. He may be a small character, but his thinking is one of those rare type for ppl to look towards to. Even though he had some doubts and questions, he never backed away and instead trained more. Or dats wat I remembered after watching it 2 yrs ago......Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:If you're referring to Leopold Scorpus (firearms-related reference: Leupold Scopes), he's the official/unofficial "comedy relief" of the series and, in my opinion, didn't really add much to the overall plot of the series.
As an indication of his irrelevance, it wasn't even resolved right at the very end of the series whether or not Pacifica and he would eventually get married.
I found him irritating too.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:If you're referring to Leopold Scorpus (firearms-related reference: Leupold Scopes), he's the official/unofficial "comedy relief" of the series and, in my opinion, didn't really add much to the overall plot of the series.

Besides, aren't we here to talk about Scrapped Princess?
I don't have a large figurine collection. I only get them when they come bundled with a DVD release, or if they're on closeout at a steep discount. There are only 8 of them in my collection now.Originally posted by alexkusu:how much you spent on your figurine collection? 4 figure sum?
mmmm talk about figurines.. i found a live-sized one yesterday. will post it on the figurines threadOriginally posted by Meia Gisborn:Experimenting with thumbnails here:
Click on the thumbnail. It should pull up the original full-sized image.
In case you were wondering, the Pacifica and Raquel figurines were included in Bandai's Region 1 "limited edition" DVD releases of the first two volumes of SP. These are pretty big figurines: the Raquel figurine, for example, is a full 14" tall.
Nope. Me not so otakuish yet.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Do you have a figurine collection too?
