Plot Summary: Pacifica Casull is the most feared and hated person by the followers of the God Mauser. Known as the Scrapped Princess, she is the poison that will destroy the world. To avoid being killed by the zealots of Mauser, Pacifica and her adoptive brother and sister leave the village of Manhurin. Her brother, Shannon, is an expert with the sword while Racquel is proficient with magic. At every step of the way, however, someone is constantly trying to kill Pacifica, hoping to somehow avert the catastrophe that is supposed to befall the world on her 16th birthday.

Ahem.
There's a hint of incest in this show.
And that the brother was named Shannon, and the sister named Raquel, took some getting used to.
But overall, the story is beautiful and ended well, with Pacifica forgetting the painful loss she suffered in the days she spent with amnesia.
Oh and the soundtrack has some very nice pieces. -

though they're not blood siblings, they are still siblings. Sometimes their level of intimacy and the extent of shannon's protection gives me goosebumps - it seems to exceed that of a protective sibling, a guardian, or maybe more aptly put, it seems to umm, over-step onto another level a little.
Especially the last episode!
Or maybe you can put it in this way - Pacifica sees Shannon as purely an elder brother she can rely on and stick to, but Shannon probably doesn't entirely see her as a younger sister.
But it's just an anime, so er, let's not think too much.

Truth be told, I was so hoping for a Shannon-CZ pair-up by the end of the series; the last few episodes seemed to hint at this possibility, but, sadly, that was not to be the case. -

i like raquel silent but actually very powderful and equally protective of pacifica. -
Note that her final utterance of gomenasai was done in her "Suin" voice. Of the three Peacekeepers, CZ was the one with the most "human" qualities due to her time spent with the Casulls as Suin.Originally posted by MooKu:oh awww... but before Cz died, she said "gomenasai" right?
One of the biggest complaints levelled at the series was the way in which CZ was eliminated without any kind of denouement to her character development. It seemed done almost as an afterthought by the writers.
I stlll stand by my contention that Shannon and CZ would have made an ideal anime couple.
