Set during the early years of the Meiji period in Japan, the series tells the story of an assassin named Himura Kenshin, who was known as the Hitokiri Battôsai (Translated as Man killer of the sheath). Kenshin later grieves for all the lives he's taken, and has vowed that he will never kill again.

Haha.. this is an old manga, but also very nice.
I love the beginning where kenshin "gei siao" he can't fight and mess around, then at the later part is more of touching stories liao...

okay.. i've got all 96 episodes, Trust and Betrayal and also Reflections on DVD.. whoever wants to borrow, just buzz me
oh.. the 96 episodes are good.. the very last is tender, subtle and touching.. will bring a smile to your face and a tear to your eye..
Trust and Betrayal as well as Reflections will leave you paralysed with sorrow and sobbing uncontrollably...
also, looking for the movie in between where he helped put down a rebellion.. -
