ya i tink i missed out on meia's pt on using reflectors to reflect e light... gonna experiment wif it on my next photography of my next figurine...Originally posted by Gordonator:hey life2121, nice figurine of saber. how much u bought it (convert to sing dollars)?
anyway as for your photography skills, i think it's decent enough.
i'm also learning on photographing figurines. maybe the thing we can work on is to eliminate the shadows. but u least u did the right thing by choosing to photograph it against a simple background.
a mistake which i made previously was photograph figurines against "colourful" background, like my bookshelves. doing so will make the viewer lose focus and bring their attention away from the figurine.
Yeah, damm lan ah.Originally posted by Gordonator:Xephone_xenon are u useing camera phone to take these pics?
anyway just a suggestion, best is place your figures against simple background when taking pics. for example in the 3rd pic the background is too "colourful", viewers will lost focus.
Yah, I finally got it, after seeing yours. Haven't I said before that you're a bad influence?Originally posted by Gordonator:wow Meia u finally bought swimsuit saber.
the glue marks u mentioned are most probably due to the heat which cause the PVC to melt.
and yes the mould separation line on the arms is indeed an eyesore.
1 more complain is that they painted the toe nails and finger nails pink (or whatever color that is). the coloring on mine is very uneven and looks terrible. they should have leave it unpainted.
and btw, is that a real bullet?
