last part of the tourny is not released in SG but it can be found in taiwan. i guess singaporeans hate to see the main team lose.
Captain Tsubasa is another superb anime. anybody got the ova for road to 2002? i found a few in youtube but then they're all in jap and spanish sub.
another classic anime showing in Animax channel on the SCV now is YU YU Hakusho. now show until the part where the 4 of them go fight Zhu He. battle of the 4 demon warriors temple. -

they got knocked out after defeating the defending champion, i still remember rukawa dribble all the way, den pass to sakuragi to finish. next match sakuragi injured, and they got thrashed..

yea...
the real-life sakuragi was truly a remarkable player then..unfortunately his short-lived career was ended by a car accident when he was dashing across the street to look for his father in the hospital.
even parts of the anime like the fighting parts, were true events in his life.(eh..except the being rejected 50 times part and extremely noobish player antics part.. )
kudos to sakuragi!

jay chou is filming a 'so called' slam dunk movie that is said to draw inspiration form the manga. i'm not sure how it is going to turn out but i won't be expecting much.
