Just an FYI: The final volume of the Region 2 DVD release of SHnY includes a complete version of the famous dance sequence featured in the closing credits.
It is incredibly well animated; my jaw was on the floor when I watched it.

anyway the only episode i like was episode 1 whereby they are filming a movie titled "the adventures of mikuru asahina". especially the beginning with mikuru singing totally out of tone and rhythm-less.

Basically I would say this is a stupid anime.
But it's very interesting, and it's different from other animes. Which anime besides this one would jumble up the sequence of its episodes, cut the story short to save time (and tell you explicitly they want to save time so they cut it), let you watch its characters stone for minutes (in real time)?

i tot i came across 3 books of haruhi comics... but they r in japanese... dunno if this is true... they dun look like any of the novels... anyone can confirm?

I like the episode where the computer club challenge them in LAN gaming. I like the way Kyoto Animation Studio do it. -

That is, frankly speaking, wrong. They had a reason to use the anachronistic order, and that was to prevent the climax from coming before the halfway mark. -
