Naruto (ƒiƒ‹ƒg, Naruto? romanized as NARUTO in Japan) is a manga by Masashi Kishimoto with an anime TV series adaptation. Its titular main character, Uzumaki Naruto (‚¤‚¸‚Ü‚«ƒiƒ‹ƒg, Uzumaki Naruto?), is a loud, hyperactive, adolescent ninja who constantly searches for approval and recognition.
The manga was first published in Japan, by Shueisha, in the 43rd issue of the Shonen Jump magazine in 1999. VIZ Media publishes a translated version in the American Shonen Jump, and has translated roughly a third of the series. Naruto has become VIZ Media's best-selling manga series.
Currently running its 193 episode, its been on fillers since 130 something after the naruto n sasuke fight... n the fillers suck... rumours tat it the fillers will end at 199... -
The fillers BETTER end at 199, I read the comic version far further than the anime part. Only good thing abt anime is you get to see the motion of their skills and ninjutsus.

actually the manga's new chapters starts from book 28 to 33.
6 books total around 60 chapters. if each chapters equals to 1 anime episode, so that means total 60 anime episodes based on the manga.
normally for anime to start following the manga's storyline, it needs at least 100 chapters in advance. -

The first time i see naruto , it was love at first sight . I have always been a sucker for japanese ninja shows , american one don't count cos they are pure rubbish . Been searching and collecting japanese ninja anime including ninja scroll . I use my pc to dl naruto till episode 126 then my damm pc had to fail , and even though my friend recover it for me but my pc can never dl files via bitorrent anymore and thus ended my naruto dling . So super sad , heng my friend burn for me episode 127 till 142 and stuck there . Sigh ! Anyone have naruto dvd pirated version esp hk version where there is alot of extra features selling cheap ?
