Schumacher probably dont see a point to push his car any further because the gap is just to wide and it is not worth the risk of spining his car out of the race and championship. MS must have learnt his lesson at Albert Park.Originally posted by Gedanken:The race itself is not quite my point, Gaz. My point is that a middling driver pulls fastest laps in the same kind of car that the *ahem* 7-time WDC is flopping about in, and said *ahem* 7-time WDC's former teammate (who won the occasional race in a Ferrari) has gone to another team is and now wandering aimlessly towards the wrong end of midpack. It's supports your view that it's 80% car and 20% driver, although in Ferrari's case that could be unfair to the car.
Have you noticed that the forums trolls seems to always follow where you go?Originally posted by HENG@:looks like loads of Maccie haters here.
weird how they're also the forums trolls too.
actually, different ones stay in different forums. occasionally u get some perverts or paedophiles who stray from bar.Originally posted by Gazelle:Have you noticed that the forums trolls seems to always follow where you go?
Heng, what about this? Still thinking we are all talking co.ck?Originally posted by Gazelle:Heng, even kimi has given up hope of winning any championship this season. Yeah they are still a threat, but maybe not for the front runner.

If you choose to view of this world from the narrow co.ckpit, everything will look like one to you.Originally posted by HENG@:i only think u're talking cock. U've aways have. most other people here, with the exception of a couple others, never talk cock. u know when they speak, u can trust them.
Well, they can't be that far ahead if Messy's setting fastest lap, can they? The Ferraris are still fast - it's just that other teams (read Renault) have progressed to the point where it's no longer a Schumacher charity benefit.Originally posted by Gazelle:Barcelona is a track that clearly expose the potential of the car, at the moment, I think Renault and Michelin are ahead of the Ferrari and BS.
talk about irony.Originally posted by Gazelle:If you choose to view of this world from the narrow co.ckpit, everything will look like one to you.
Back to your "it aint over till its over" statement. What do you have to say now that the horse and the trainer are both saying its over. Maybe you should just do your math and observe what is happening outside the co.ckpit before making silly comments.
they definately have to work. thats their weakness really. they've got to unlock the potential ASAP, which means the only way up now, is thru a fighting charge. I reckon this shift in engineering and management goals is actually a good thing.Originally posted by Gedanken:Well, they can't be that far ahead if Messy's setting fastest lap, can they? Looking at the points, Mac's got a LONG way to go if they're going to be a serious player in this year's championship. Way I figure it, they've got to make a few changes:
1) Get themselves a Ross Brawn. Whoever's coming up with this "let's load up the car and save a pitstop" strategy obviously can't do his sums right.
2) Get their hands on somebody who can understand Adrian Newey's work. The car isn't bad - it's just that nobody knows what to do with it.
3) Get a decent development driver. Wurz wasn't all that bad, but they need someone like DC.
Beyond that, they've got to start work on their 2007 car yesterday. Mac's gotten into the unfortunate habit of bringing out underdeveloped cars which are essentially good, but don't release their potential until late in the season, when they've got to make a heroic but unsuccessful late charge. It's not like the good old days when the MP4/4 or 5 came out fighting right out of the box.
There are always excuses for not winning and Mclaren is a team that is now labeled as the best team that cant win a championship. 1998 was the last time they win the WCC, it has been a good 8 years and still they are playing catchup with the front runner.Originally posted by HENG@:talk about irony.
what i have to say is, u have no idea why people in F1 say the things they do. I've done my math. The result is, it ain't over till its over. the reason some of the things have been said, is often a shift in the engineering focus n goals can bring a Champsionship back on track. If this shift means taking focus away from a bigger goal to concentrate on the small problems, then thats whats to be done. Until its over, its not over.

As a racer or as a development driver? He's good at development, but kinda inconsistent as a racer.Originally posted by SBS9828X:DC isnt doing great in red bull neither
