Ingredients:

170g plain flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
5 eggs
155 g castor sugar
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 205 degree. Sift flour and baking powder twice. Divide into 2 equal parts. Set aside.
2. Beat eggs and sugar till very thick and creamy. Divide into 2 portions.
3. Sift one portion of the flour over one portion of the egg mixture. Fold very lightly as for sponge sandwich.
4. Spoon batter into greased and heated Kueh Bolu pans till 3/4 filled. Baked in 205 degree for 5 minutes then reduce heat to 150 degree till cake turns golden brown. Remove to cooling rack with fork.
5. Repeat with remaining egg and flour. Wait till temperature reaches 205 degree before baking. Bake at once when batter is spooned into the moulds. Do not leave to stand.
6. Cool cakes completely before keeping in and air-tight container.
