Ingredients to be blended
an inch of ginger
4 cloves of garlic
1 large onion
1 1/2 tomatoes (medium)
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper seeds
1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
1 teaspoon of coriander powder
1 tablespoon of chilli powder
2 tablespoon of curry powder
3 tablespoon of yoghurt
salt
water
Ingredients to be fried
1 whole chicken ( cut to about 8 - 10 pieces depending on size)
3 cardamons (pelaga)
cloves
cinnamon sticks
star anise
Method:
Fry the chicken, cardamons,cloves,cinnamon sticks and star anise together till the chicken is half cooked.
Add all the blended ingredients.add water and salt.
Mix and cook well till the oil rises to the surface.
Finally , just add corriander leaves.
Walla your yoghurt curry chicken is ready.
