Corned Beef Sauce
1-2 onions
2-3 garlic
2 small cans or 1 large can tomato puree, depending on how much u wanna cook & if you like lots of tomatoes - delmonte, hunts (some of my fav. brands)
1-2 can or corned beef (depends how much u wanna cook)
Italian Seasoning (in bottle - easily found in dried herb shelf in supermarket)
Ground nutmeg - optional
Canned button mushrooms - sliced - optional
Black pepper, salt
1 cube of beef or chicken stock
1. Grind, slice or finely chop onions & garlic.
2. Heat oil, fry the above till soft.
3. Add beef or chicken cube. Fry for another 2 mins. or so.
4. Add corned beef, tomato puree. Stir well.
5. Add water - the consistency is up to you how thick you want your sauce to be.
6. Add mushrooms & the rest of seasonings.
7. Simmer in low heat so that you can smell the aroma when it boils.
8. Taste accordingly.
We're having this for dinner tonite, with garlic bread & canned mushroom soup.
