Fannie Farmer's Famous Pancakes
Ingredients:
(A)
2 cups flour (plain)
1/2 cup sugar (normal)
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbs baking powder
(B)
1 egg
2 cups milk (UTH milk)
2 tbs melted butter
Method:
Mix and sift dry ingredients (A) ; beat egg, add milk, and pour slowly on first mixture (A).
Beat thoroughly and add butter. Drop by spoonfuls on a greased hot pan, cook on one side. When puffed, full of bubbles, and cooked on edges, turn and cook other side.
Serve with butter and maple syrup.
