Ingredients :
5 cups of water
1 bundle of pandan leaves
80gm-100gm rock sugar
200gm waterchestnut, cut into pea-sized pieces
1/2 cup fresh or frozen corn
3 level soupspoon(porcelain type) waterchestnut powder
1/3 cup water (to dissolve waterchestnut powder)
pinch of salt to taste(optional)
1/2 egg, beaten
Method:
1. Boil water, pandan leaves with rock sugar until sugar melted.
2. Add waterchestnut, boiled for 3 minutes.
3. Add corn.
4. Add waterchestnut thickener. Cook until boiling and thick.
5. Add salt (optional).
6. Turn off fire. Add egg slowly and swirl to make egg flower pattern.
