  No, if you are hospitalized for more than a week, they will try to get a relief for you, but hardly they will get, especially in this kanasai taxi market situation. So, they will ask you to return the cab, you go on a long term contract recess period (if you are under contract), thereafter, once you recovered, they will give you any other available cab (could be yr previous or other similar model) to carry on your contract or driving.

  not sure what cdg will come up with.

  friend enquired before the surgery as it'll be a 3-4 days mc. the staff said bring mc back for them to process when he got the mc. 

  so i wonder what this process will lead to... since not 'fit for duty', how to drive?

  As I said, if more than a week, they will ask you to return cab, if less than a week, depend on your contract, today cdg got many lanjiao contracts, if you are on those old normal contract that pay above $100 rental per day, and your MC is less than a week,.. ...they will give you the benefit of doubt and recognize the MC (hospital one certified by MBBS one hor), and allow you to rest without paying anything. However, the clause stated is that first, THEY will exhaust all your FREE rental days prior to giving you the MC off day base on compassionate rental free days up to a week, thereafter, if driver cannot carry on, the taxi shall be returned and it is up to the driver to decide to retire due to medical reason, or to hold till he recover. The above do not apply those whose rental are less than $100per day and taking 6 months promotion cheap rental with 15% return on fare contract Cdg today are not like last time, today, they more sayang the driver, arbo...no more parking space in their carpark liao...today...Rental above $100 per day is no brainer

  just a brief update

  outpatient sick leave - all not entertained

  only hospitalisation leave is considered.

   

  cdg system, minimum 1 yr service - 3 years, 1.5days rental wavier a year

  more years service, more days. however all these claims ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGES and u do not find them in your service contract.

  Benefits is given, not a must have
