I plan to take advantage of this 6mths promo to learn taxi trade. At the same time, make use of the vehicle to go job interviews. Probably can take some courses using Skillfuture credit.

Concentrate on yr work, upgrade, work hard, learn the skill, once you are skillful and know the know how, employers will respect you, promote you and most important, need you, we must make ourselves relevant and on demand in any trade. Once a customer said, I want Bowah to drive the casket for my dead relative, I want him only, if you send other driver, I am will not take yr package, ///then you can truly say..you hv reach a certain level of success in yr trade, because you are in demand. Thereafter, forget about driving smlj relief or full time, ...

same like chap chai rice mah, arbo, tiam tiam taxis, buay sian meh??? So now, pax has a buffet of fare pricing for them, taxi driver also have a buffet of fare to accept or reject or even cancel. Aiya, just drive like, got Grab, just grab, got flat fare, just take it, got JG, depend on your mood, Q got people, go pick, go uncles and aunties on road side waving, just pick, AP, p n g, chiong there..so many jobs...knn, why still kpkb??

TDs kpkb JG for what. It's either you work harder to get the same income with JG or work harder to cover high rental from comfort. The outcome is the same. Work Harder from now onwards. Times have changed and you have to realise the hard truths.

I earn little, go for cheaper one mah, you guys everyday $200 to $300 net, call one good one $150 also no problem. Bak bak service better than those good, young and sexy looking one.

Cost of everything is always going up, and at the end of this year, more things will go up when water and electrical tariff go sky rocket up. Companies employee's representative will argue for high pay increase to match the high cost of living inorder to sustain proper living. So, many companies have restructured their wage systems, pay higher but with leaner workforce and work on productivity like automation and robotic. Driving, be it taxi or Phv, is on the reverse course, and that to me, is dangerous especially for those who are very much in need to support a family, as fares decrease, you will find yourself working backward against a higher and higher cost of living. On the other hand, as fare decreases, bookings and calls pax might increase, that will compensate the lost of income due to low fare, but if you look closely, unlike employees of company who still work on the same job and timing, Taxi drivers and PHv drivers will have to drive longer and harder (due to more calls) to meet their ex target or incentives, and all these translate to more health problem and psycho problem such as anxiety and acute hypertension disorder leading to qi Siao and heart attack

its been months since i had a 1 for 1 mileage record.
streets been so quiet. now is just beginning of anew month, but it feels like month end.
some passengers i picked, in the f&b said business patterns also affected.

After years and months of wo ha on taxi and phv transportation, I think more or less for a small domestic market like Singapore, it is saturated already, as more initiatives of fares were introduce, it is now more on how it is going to perform. Grab have already too many platform of fares, even if you talk about attracting drivers, it is more or less saturated, meaning, that is it, the number are more or less stagnated in this small market, hence, grab start to use their platform to work back on taxi driver again. The " n " turn graph curve applied here. And Just Grab and Grabshare are just 2 platform they are working toward Taxi drivers. And paxs on the other hand, are more or less getting to use to phv and taxi all kinds of fares structure, and some of them are back to taking taxis as taxis are now more easier to get, that is why, there is some improvement in taxi business. Phv will be like pokemon go...come out only, everyone use, then later, people start to get tired of it.

Indeed. Now Friday n Saturday is no longer good to drive. Lots of green lantern at nite. Can cover rental, diesel and pocket money can keep oredi.... sigh...

this May 2017, i see a steady decline in income as compared from previous months.
phvs population is 1.5 times more than taxi, we can die cock stand, anywhere can see phv in action.
i think nothing will change come 1st July LTA decal dateline..
we can fight their shitty fares and their low rental..
economy also not good.. everyday seems like month end.
