  Drive what also can earn, the keys to driving is not how much you can earn, as long as this country population continue to grow, there will be paxs, the keys is consistency and sustainability, can you drive consistently and income remain at that constant, can you sustain to long hours, the period of obk days?

  Depends, as taxi driving is a sole proprietor business, like all other business, many factors can affect the profit, major factors are the economy status, the individual personalities and characters, the impact of external and internal competition and customers behavior changes and finally the govt policies and regulation. Therefore, from a holistic approach, taxi driver income varies from month to month, and if you compare it on year to year, it is diminishing at a rate of 5 to 8% per year since the introduction of UG, however, as taxi companies step up their marketing, this high percentage might reduce, which had yet to see till next year to compare. Given that taxi driver earning is in a downward trends, do you think it is wise to be a taxi driver in an on going concern of high cost of living getting higher and higher. Base on all these points, we are unable to provide you a definite answer of how much a taxi driver can earn, but on the modest point of view, not to mention IRA agent around, I can say base on my earning alone, it is only $900 per month/ $30 net per day.

  They scare you earn commission mah, all these older uncles are the ones who built this industrial, helped Singapore to ferry tourists, peoples from business to laymen during the industrial years till today so called digitalization economy..and look how our govt is treating them.

  No need $10 refer lah, grab girl will call your cab, then take your cab to somewhere, on the way, introduce grab to you, direct register and take photo with her hp, just sign, give account number and bring a comb to comb your hair....prior to photoshooting. she gets commission, you get a call fare, registered with grab, instant know a girl phone number, any problem, can direct to her like your DRO, not need to call grab number,...that number call until die also no one pick up...24hrs later, you are on grabtaxi aka taxi driver.

  That day I drive until very tire,...my shirt also torn, hair messy.. walk out to St George koptiam for my usual drink..and happy hours, on the way, a lady asked me if I eaten..then give me $2...nabey. I think I can thrown key liao...just walk around Singapore also got money

  Most telling you one are missile plus cannon lah, how big is Singapore, end to end without jam 45minutes can reach already, they go city to pick, they will tell you go sembawang is good, many paxs...like this one less competitor for them in CBD mah...aiyo, the best drive first, then see it for yourself... believing yourself.
