These days driving taxis getting harder..

not sure if many shifted to PHV than taxis..
morning peak hour 0630 - 0930 and evening 1700 - 2000 hours still can see many green top driving around.
any other time is worse.. time where the taxi is vacant is getting longer and longer, airport, always long q of taxis

Well, as I sit at my St George Kopitiam with 2 bottles + my GFs during evening peak, along serangoon road, when see 4 greens and 1 red (hired), I know times are real bad for taxi drivers. when see 3 greens and 2 red (hired), I know times are bad for taxi drivers when see 2 greens and 3 red (BUSY), I know times is real siao liao for taxi drivers when see all greens...and far far bendemeer MRT taxi stand full of taxi at Q..your honor, I rest my case. After drink until sen sen. my GFs go back also book Grab...nabey

With gf still keep your eyes on taxi. No wonder gf no go with u. Take grab go home by herself. She disappointed with you. -
Why taxi harder to drive? Isnt it the same as driving an auto car? What's wrong with the taxi?

Aiya that time of GFs, anytime also can get... Taxi steering harder mah, taxi are bigger, higher CC, but more stable, but also more heavier, so steering abit harder, unlike Vios, Altis, Vezel, Sentia, avante, pirus.. -
Employed td. Basic $1.6k with cpf. Earn up to $3.2k monthly. HDT electric taxis. Not sure hw long the working hrs?

No fixed working hours. But got target revenue to collect. Last I know for OMO is around $8000 a month. Bo hua one. I still dunno why got people driving. Even I count with $133 rental if can collection $8000 after rental and fuel exclude incentives still is more then the $3200 they pay. And mind you the $3200 is INCLUSIVE of the employer CPF contributions. So you get back peanuts and money stuck inside CPF.

Oic thks! Not a good option then. Less freedom and less motivation to drive. Worse still if vehicle cannot drive home.

after mid night i went to refuel at changi south - premier
then at 1am went to Q at T2 (almost went home empty cab)
fetch an Indian guy from t2 to penjuru walk
so heng man, mid night charge some more

If queue halfway then decided to close shop like very waste time.

Can drive home. But need to charge the stupid car for every 250-280km of usage

If target not meet still can get basic? -
my friend driving for comfort can drive 15 hours a day
sometimes he drive 24 hours non stop
really salute him

Basic $1600, hit target $7500 become $3200, then he hit till $10K with profit sharing he got $5000. Plus GRAB incentive he got total $6000 last month, is depend on driver and luck gua he is the top 3. Employed taxi driver...

Saturday 1pm to sunday 6am - another gross 1k
the rest of sunday you can rest
2k during these two days. what is so difficult? my taxi friend has done it and show me his earnings
