Is sunshade/ sun visor necessary?

Was thinking tds can use very cheap car cushion for passenger seats in case pax vomit then can just throw away the cushions.

Actually quite stupid to spend money on car accessories. So must spend very wisely. Probably only buy those removable ones.

Dun mod and poison the car too much lah, afterall, got inspection one hor, and also not your personal car...want to poison put 3000w subwoofer lah..super color LED lights on undercarriage, front and rear...then become Chingay parade car...on the subwoofer only, your car screw and nuts start to lose up... ...The best is self create what you want, you need a cup holder, can make one, just buy tape and cardboard or use old plastic, you want shade, can cut your old chest x ray film...the one you go for medical checkup during taking TVDL, keep for fark, can use mah...

For taxi, yes For pte commercial car...yes For pte own car, first 3 years, no need, follow by 2 years, thereafter, every year must go for inspection till 10 years,..left with Parf value, if you renew COE, Parf value gone, higher road taxi and insurance

taxi 7 years only, taxi companies' staff can go 30years, taxi drivers more steady, no limit..drive till died. On the 7 years, taxi will be revaluate, if Vicom find it ok, it will carry on for another year, and who own Vicom?? STA?? cdg lor...so you think they will scrap their own taxi??

No wonder lately one td told me his sonata can drive up to 8 yrs.

Yup, unless you like down time...you can extend.. especially those older uncle like me, we dun mind more downtime if cab break down often, so we tends to extend or take older sonata..cheaper too, when spoil, just call tow truck, key in the downtime, ho say liao. old man drives old cab..gum ma

Sonata handbrake manual type? Not used to i40 electronic handbrake. When parking, must double check to ensure activate handbrake.

This afternoon i alight a pax at clementi mrt bus stop. I just learnt that there are plenty of cameras there. So surely kena summon? How much is the fine? Any demerit points?

New technologies, new innovation and new equipment is always there in our lives, and now a day, it move faster than we thought, no choice, it is either you learn, adapt and evolve or get out cast...as simple as that. Camera??? wait and see if got letter or not...all drivers, be it UG or taxis, must make provision for summons and fines in their earning, otherwise, life will be miserable

It seems like alot of pax like to be alighted at bus stop or bus lane making tds job more challenging. Cannot be every pax also reject their request right? But the risk can be costly.

Dealing with Human must be tactical, especially the one going to pay for your services. 2 ways communication is critical for both the driver and pax to enjoy and part way in a happy mood. And any happy taxi driver or person will always have better luck. Most paxs understand our problem, and even ask us to park far away and tell us there are cam here and there, but some paxs, either due to their bad brought up, or having menstruation or simply have a classification of Brahmin and pariah character type. You better Becareful, that is all.

Chat is chat, dun chat until geyland book room hor.,... and even chatting must know your position, let them chat more, you just said yes, agreed, true, really...kind of one or 2 words, your mind must always be on the road and the meters infront of you, from fare meter to speedometer
