  Look, every job, in a long run, you will naturally get tire of it, but still hv to drive/work for it, because you need to survive mah, same goes to a banker, a manager, a workers, a bus driver, a bell boys, a student.. ...this is the nature of human, you ask any men on the street who married for 20 years and above about their wife, they will tell you, hear the her voice only, sian liao. If that guy said no, I still like her voice or her character...then his cannon must be damn big

   Had a good chat with a td throughout the journey yest. He even printed out his fares collection to show me. Hope he dun mind i only give $1.85 tip.

  Taxi drivers and some PHv drivers are the only one in Singapore like to show other their earning, I find it very stupid...dunno why they like to show their earning to others, even in public, news and social media.... ...all earning should be Private and Confidential

  Today took a angmo couple to hbf. Told me they going holiday for 1 month on ship.

  Asked me if i been to japan before.

  I tell them i had never step out of singapore. My pay is $50 to $80 a day 15 hours everyday.

  4 kids to feed and aging parents.

  End of trip after visa payment the husband dig into his pocket.

  Gave me $20 USD tips. 

  Sigh. Better then nothing.

  That is why, it is good to act poor, you want to act rich...do it on your personal time, like holidays, go restaurant and eat, go clubbing, pubbing or like me, Kopitiaming, I go kopitiam then wear my rolex and comb my hair...other than that, drive taxis, act rich, you gain nothing, Pax envison of a TD is always a poor man, a man that cannot make it in other jobs nor can he make much in his life, and a non successful man.

  Actually he is not haolian lah. But sometimes being too helpful can backfire.

  Maybe some really don't need the income, but why go tell all his pax? It is those who think they are rich will try to hao lian because they have an inferiority complex.

  The quiet quiet uncle driving you in his taxi and very humble could well be a very rich man.

  Security guards at condos always tell me. The worst residents at condos are those new HDB upgraders.  They think they have arrived, behave arrogantly, look down on the guards and demand this, demand that as if their money is very big.

  I work before lah, now still doing as relief, the most arrogant are India expatriates from poor village in india coming here with family whereby their company rent condo for them, this people think limpek is their Archar (slave in india) anyway, 10 condo security guards, 8 assholes

  But when companies, like today, many close shop and sent them back, can see they crying while waiting for Uber to pick them out to AP, as taxi driver, I also once pick few family sent back to india..nabey, all become like mouse..wife still asking husband, why cannot stay..children also cry...
