In my earlier posts, I had warned about professional thieves in singapore. Their modus operandi is to spend their days wandering around chinatown, jalan besar and little india, eyeing careless people and waiting for opportunity. Yes - opening pax side door and removing your phone is one of them. They normally dont like taking your bags - too big. Be careful when the area does not have cctv. Eg. temple street. So you be surprised that geylang gives u less problems.
It does not matter if its day or night. These buggers operate round the clock.
To me, any poorly dressed person wandering alone and along roadsides and carparks are suspects.
You know its a thief when their eyes are focused into the car interior and they tend to walk close to cars. Normal people walk straight to their vehicle and usually dont bother whats in other people cars.
These are the kind of people u need to shout and ask 'kua si me lan jiao!'
You this kind should say back 'kua li si buay'. See you die already or not. Si liao ka heng ah hua. Kum sia.
