Toyota Prius G3 Error message ~ Check Hybrid System, Stop the Vehicle in a safe place.
When you start engine, if you see this message ~ ~ ~ Check Hybrid System, Stop the Vehicle in a safe place.
It means your Prius Hybrid Battery is due for replacment.
When the Error Msg warning light is ON, You still can drive the Car，
BUT Don't speed over 50KM/Hr, So better STOP it and call for towing.
Workshop will take about 8 ~ 10 Hrs to replace the Hybrid Battery.
(It is a major operation, So captain and below can not touch it.)

I am driving this car too. But I am not too concerned about the battery as it can be replaced.
I am more interested in the bloody dinosaur age NETS wireless payment machine which doesnt work at 90% of the time despite changing countless replacement units with SMRT.
Now is 2016 and the wireless payment machine is still sending data via GPRS. Speechless.

Pirus is not as good as Honda hybrid car, and yet in pte market, it is selling at high price, just because it save on petrol, they mark it up to a high price to compensate the reduction use of petrol. So, people still go back to petrol driven car. Singapore govt on one side, said be greener and save the environment, but on the other side, never want to give special road tax and rebate for green car, like the recent Tesla electric car, govt can said, electric or not also use fuel to generate, we need fuel to run our power plant to generate electricity for electric car to get charged, so there is no special road tax or rebate, it still harm the environment...WTF. I think the main reason is, if all go into cheaper hybrid or electric car, govt will get less petrol tax and Gst, and being the best oil refineries in the region, business can be affected.
