morning guys
I find that when playing with exotic fish, you really must know your geography well >.<"
These days I actually ask for actual name of the River because it can be the same bloody fish but collection point can double or triple the price -_-"
Anyway, I was doing strength training and yoga on my Wii Fit Plus last night.
I ended up pulling my right calf muscle. It went 'KRRR!', and a sharp pain shot through the muscle.
No lower limb activities for the next few days.

You can use Wii Fit Plus to do strength training????

Nothing much.... planks, lunges, that sort of thing.....
That said, it's very exacting. For example, for front planks the balance board can actually track the movement of your center of balance. If you wiggle around too much you'll lose points.
Wii Fit Plus cannot be considered as a serious exercise tool, but I would say that it's good as a first step to fitness. Better to stand up and use Wii Fit Plus instead of sitting down to play Halo.

RICE?
hot lazy day...
I wish I could just lounge on the beach with a cocktail in hand, slacking on a beach chair under the shade...
ahhhhhhh...
Hokay, back to reality...

There's an Epic Rap Battle for everything....
Leonidas: 'Your puny fans are fat nerds on computers, jerking off to games, giving themselves first person shooters!'

I heard about that.... it's some violent game with Sin City-like visuals, right?
Anyway, if you can only buy two games for your Wii, I strongly recommend Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit Plus.
Gimmicky, yes, but they're highly interactive and great fun.

They've created seventeen awesome rap battles.
You can suggest to them what you want in the comments section. I would be over the moon if they could do:
Beethoven vs Tchaikovsky
Dr House vs Dr Who
Batman vs Superman
Epic Meal Time vs Epic Rap Battles of History......

any access to gym? weight training? else you can try the body weight stuff - think the Net should have loads of these e.g. use resistance bands, TRX
go to Daiso, buy one of those giant rubberband exercise thingies for $2
The NUS Campus Crusade for Christ has been heavily condemned for really terrible comments about Thai Buddhists and Turkish Muslims.
I read about what they posted.... damnit man, they're lucky to get away with only a censure from the NUS Deputy President, and articles in Today and TNP. People have been thrown into jail for less than this.
The part about Thai Buddhists was especially condescending and patronizing.
As for the part about Turkish Muslims, trying to stealthily describe Muslims as 'M' is pretty dumb. My BMT platoon sergeant would be hammering them at such a dumb attempt at cover and concealment.
Anyway, speaking about crusades and Turkey, I seriously wonder if they know anything about the Fourth Crusade. That's where the Crusaders actually sacked Constantinople. That, and the (Catholic) city of Zara.

First I need to build up my stamina LOL
good afternoon all, finally found an opportunity to log in.
but that's because i'm now down with flu and have become an invalid.
anyway, not sure if you guys have seen this but....
So this has apparently gone viral after someone took a picture of this pasted on the door of one of the LT and posted on the forums.
-_-" I read it was some poster and now I've just seen it
yeah, that particular student group is everywhere.
When I first entered onto the campus for the very first time, guess who was the first to greet me and shove a foolscap filled with such messages? (not that i mind the foolscap)
I had seen the poster in question in person, but it never struck me to read it carefully since I was usually in a rush to just enter the LT and sit down and have my lessons.

I've read the circular from the NUS Deputy President / Provost. It should be in your NUS email.
All I can say is, they're lucky to escape with a only a public rebuke from him.
People have been tossed in jail for less than this.
