Its even gone onto the ST.
If they have balls between their legs, they would come out in the open to apologize.
But no, they put an anonymous apology on EDMW and let the Provost apologize for them.
Oh well. They're hurting themselves in the long run with these brilliant tactics.
I wonder why nobody within the group even used their brain and asked themselves if it was even acceptable to start with.
Its a rather appalling poster.
Either someone stuck it without the exco knowledge, or the group is simply like that from top to bottom. Given my past experience with them, I am inclined to guess its the latter and so I reckon they should just have been disbanded instead.

Ok la... I had been keen on taking a new sports. Basketball hurts me quite badly and my current condition is more of a saboh useless player than anything useful. Judo hurts my knees as well. Scared cat.... make it scared Shrek....
Latey been trying badminton, but I kinda suck cos the pace of the shuttle cock i cannot see... too small... Tried Ping pong before... Ball smaller... worst!
Tennis ball is small but got bounce so I might be able to track it. Big word is might....
Yah... got people suggest i do a eye opening surgery... Eyes too small... Cannot see... :D

I read about what they posted.... damnit man, they're lucky to get away with only a censure from the NUS Deputy President, and articles in Today and TNP. People have been thrown into jail for less than this.
The part about Thai Buddhists was especially condescending and patronizing.
As for the part about Turkish Muslims, trying to stealthily describe Muslims as 'M' is pretty dumb. My BMT platoon sergeant would be hammering them at such a dumb attempt at cover and concealment.
Anyway, speaking about crusades and Turkey, I seriously wonder if they know anything about the Fourth Crusade. That's where the Crusaders actually sacked Constantinople. That, and the (Catholic) city of Zara.
I have encountered that lot before and they have always given me the impression that they are smug, hate mongering assholes.

Seriously if you can't play badminton you might have more problems with tennis lor
Is you cannot see or the thing too fast for you?
At least badminton not so technical. Tennis you don't use the right technique the ball really anyhow fly one >.<
Also it could be your hand-eye coordination la. How good are you at those PC games that require coordination?
i can't play racket sports, zero hand-eye coordination. maybe also hand-eye-feet.
Lol it's not that bad
I think it's kinda like playing a pc game
Just need to have the reflexes and also adjusting to the style

If that means more margarine in my food they can stick their campaign where the sun doesn't shine.
The Remy Ong case has hit the mainstream papers.... and from the looks of it, he's not only digging a deeper hole for himself. He's digging his own grave.
I quote TODAY: Mr Ong, who is a dog owner, insisted it was not a case of hit-and-run. He said: "I thought the dog ran underneath or past my car. If the dog hit my car, I would have felt (the impact) ... If it was a hit-and-run, would I have turned back in the first place?"
Dude.... I'm not an auto mechanic, but I do know that it takes quite a large force to break your licence plate off your car. There have been plenty of road traffic accidents where the car can be totalled and yet the licence plate remains intact because of insufficient force at that spot. The only logical explanation for the licence plate to break off in this case is a head-on collision with the dog at high speed.
And also, once you hit a dog, you are expected to pull over immediately. If you don't, it counts as a hit-and-run regardless of whether you turned back later on.
I always thought this fella was a good bowler, but now I'm wishing for him to see the inside of Changi Prison.

how long did he take before he went back?

According to the TODAY article, he went to pick a friend up at Expo first.
So from Changi Coastal Rd to Expo via Xilin Avenue and back would be..... ten minutes, give or take.
So.... hit and run. No question about it.
