I got myself a dram of Lagavulin tonight, because the grad bash had plenty of rich food but only blended whisky. It's amazing... I can still taste it 2 hours later, even after a couple of passionfruits for supper.
I couldn't resist. The Laphroaig NAS Quarter Cask was a steal!
My collection looks like this now:
But I've also added this to my obsessions:
hmm.. can't see the pics..

Never was a fan of Rolex for some reason - find the designs too understated to merit the hype
you have fantastic taste in whiskey though - very jealous! :)

This pretty much sums up my two other things:
is that a submariner?

Close - it's the Sea Dweller. Think Sub on steroids - the Sub's rated to 300m, the SD's rated to 1220m.

Yeah, it's a matter of personal preferences. The SD works for me - it goes with a suit, a wetsuit and jeans all the same, and it ticks along happily despite my being pretty rough on watches. As for the booze, it's partly the bad influence of some of my fellow Rolex collectors.
