SBST, my ex-housemate is looking for "any place with two bus-stops that are facing each other directly and preferably 1 lane each side" for photography purposes. Do you know of any?
you mean a pair of bus stop and it's exactly opposite?
somemore old type of road, 1 lane per direction type?
so so so much to do and the pc processing speed is snail pace
I can only think of these places
Old Choa Chu Kang Rd, Lim Chu Kang Rd, Upp Changi Rd, Mandai Rd (Bus 138 plies near Nee Soon Camp), Sembawang Rd (Towards road end), Canberra Rd (Nearer to shipyard), Bedok Road, Upp East Coast Rd (Towards Bedok Camp).
Should be those roads w/ bus stop bay
Some other places but unlikely cos they dun have bus stop bay
Punggol Rd, Jln Kayu, Bus 103 plying Seletar Camp area, Serangoon Ave 3 (Near LF's place, there's 1 bus stop pair), Bt Pumei Ave (not too sure abt tis one), West Coast Rd (Teban Gardens), NUS (YIH), Lower Kent Ridge Rd (Science Fac, Sv 95's bus stop), Pasir Panjang Rd (Near NUS), Portsdown Road (Never been into there but I think there is), Jurong Town (Too big, not too sure where).
Others single lane but bus stops not really opposite.

Yes.
I think ar... the hard hit is Lim Chu Kang or Old Choa Chu Kang Rd nia
The rest come to think of it, is mostly diagonal across each other but quite close though.
how do you know such things??
why do you know such things??

I'm trying to recall any in NUS and NTU too. It seems as if all such bus stops never placed directly opposite each other.

it's only if there's bus stop bay
else it's not safe to place it opp each other
I think it's my fault MPB is fat.
Oooo I think I so want to try baking this for St Pat's

Just like what I was saying about the introduction of double-deckers to feeder service 95 between Buona Vista and NUS:
I've been at NUS over six years, and I take no.95 on a near-daily basis....
.... and I don't give a flying freak about double deckers at NUS, apart from the fact that the hordes of students now actually all have a fighting chance of boarding the bus.
