$%&&%#.....
I ordered a new chequebook from DBS, and they promised to send it to me within 10 days....
Well, it's been two weeks, and I have not received it at all....
I called the DBS hotline, and they claim to have already posted it. They offered to send it to one of their branches for me to pick it up myself in 2-3 days' time...

DBS is fucked up, I closed my account with them ages ago.
usually for POSB, they send a new one to me when i have like, 10 cheques left in my current chequebook
i have no hard solid proof on this, but im willing to bet my savings that dbs is the no.1 most hated bank in singapore..
and man will i love to get the proof of that because im actually doing a report on them..ccb..

I sure liked the time they wiped out my savings account because some idiotic bank officer didn't process my student loan repayment paperwork properly.
I seriously wanted to go on a Spanish Inquisition and get that bank officer named, shamed, and fired.... but the FS told me to just let it slide....
Actually if not for their merge with POSB, im sure DBS will have been in some major problems by now..
Especially the way they handled the Lehman Brothers fiasco, im ashamed that i still have an account with them..

just back
have a group project on them, and i've been handed the task of doing the part of public relations and corporate image, but apart from bullshit on their own website, so far there seems to be hatred towards them..
zimmern is on!!
he's in Bangkok!!
I always felt that the people got shortchanged by the merger of DBS and POSB.
For example, POSB was once the 'People's Bank'. You could open an account there with just $1 and they would accept it. Then came the merger, and the announcement of the minimum $500 balance..... that ruffled a lot of feathers.
Also, they closed down quite a few POSB branches after the merger.
About the only good thing that came out of it was the increase in ATMs that can be used.

If im not wrong, somewhere along my research i read that POSB originally had higher fixed deposit interest rates, and lower interest rates for borrowing then DBS. but once they merged, the interest rates went up.
chiku!!
but i don't know what the hell they called it..
zimmern doesn't like it.. ahahahaha
