  Ate some baked fish at Far East Shopping Centre, and bought the Best of Nouvelle Vague album. Tempted to get the Katie Melua one too... I'm going to relate what I saw in the Facepalm thread.

  in any case, in today's Zaobao it's likely no major sporting event in Singapore for next 4 yrs.

  Cardboard's Nanjing now facing headache as next host of YOG.

  I only learnt today that for YOG, no new sporting facilities should be created other than the villiage. What we saw as locals doesn't need to be restated, but I guess we did alright from the athletes' and foreign officials' POV (save for the basketball tentage).

  actually most of e locations are existing ones de. maybe some upgrade tat's all.

  But yeah some like equestrain was quite conincidental, new horse riding centre coincide w/ YOG.

  Basketball tat one was... it's not a proper basketball court... makeshift de, probably cos of *SCAPE's youth factor - publicity.

  hahaha...ah bear....really?  funny lah, the way u describe your MH.  u only playing FW ah?  well, at least u r doing well in FW.  always makes me envy with your fancy catches.  well, MH got new location.  but i can't sound horn in orpid so now also very sian le.  i am still collecting delicious stones.  maybe i will go to the new location.  today a bit free so later i go check it out.
