Was reading the "Speak English to intergrate" thread
I wonder how many actually take the trouble
Was talking to this Japanese girl working for one of my suppliers in Canada
She speaks and write in fluent French, English, Japanese and Mandarin >.<"
She speaks with a heavy Quebec French accented English though. I told her she speaks like a Frenchie and she says even her long time friends say so.
Her Mandarin accent sounds PRC though since she worked with a number of PRCs before.
well, to be an immigrant to canada you NEED to pass english or froggish ......
unlike here ....
I think this whole jet lag thing is not only affecting my sleep but also my gut
I've like lost appetite and I'm struggling to finish dinner because usually at this time I eat breakfast and breakfast is usually just coffee in Singapore >.<

they didn't have the herring plate, again !!!!!!!!
had to settle for double gravlax ....
I'm like so tempted to buy herring back
But it will be a pain to clear customs via USA
I mean a bottle of pickled herrings is so cheap
And I was drooling over the blood sausages and bison meat at the butcher and not to mention all the wonderful seafood and stuff like cod liver pate etc
Bought walnut oil for salads back home though

unlike here, wait until ppl get fed up. But in another flip side, shows how Chinese Singaporeans can't speak Mandarin anymore.

the sardines there taste so much better than the larger "siap siap" pacific variety here ...
