  Hmm... I guess you've got a point. Those women were effectively willing prostitutes, and not paying a whore after the act is not all that different from shoplifting.....

  Oh well. Those women ain't getting sympathy from me. In their greed for a big payday, they willingly sold their bodies, and all they got out of it was zero dollars and a lifetime of shame.

  I guess that's a lesson on the perils of greed.

  there are some interesting legal questions here ..... 

  luckily, prostitution is technically legal here ....

  but if it wasn't, would it still be cheating if the fellow bonks and run away without paying ?

  and he was charged for being a pimp ..... weird .... if prostitution is legal, why is being a pimp illegal ?

  but freelance prostitution is illegal, no? I thought the only legal ones are working for the registered brothels and going for regular checkups and contributing to CPF.

  Cheating an illegal prostitute is still cheating.... just that the whore would have her day in court as well to answer for her own crime....

  It's the same with scambaiters who try to cheat Nigerian email scammers of money. Committing a crime where a crook is the victim is still a crime.

  but if you sit down and think about it, prostitution is actually an honest way of earning a living. very straightforward, pay per transaction. its certainly far more honest compared to say...politics.

  if the bf/gf being honest and let the partner knows.. maybe is okay.

  i seen cases of bf/gf went out with ex, later re-lit their romance.

  one of my friend's husband did that...and divorced my friend.

  another friend is her bf kept thinking of his ex, finally met up ...he is stil with my friend, but he admits it's all a mistake.. he stays with the friend cos of obligation, cos they already together liao...  but his heart now flutters for his ex.
