  It's plain ignorant to run the air con at 18 degrees in our climate. I remember a Danish girl who hated the sauna-chill-sauna-chill environment and the lack of fun here and was only too happy to leave SG every other weekend.

  Most exchange students come here not because they actually want to see Singapore. They see it as a developed-enough country from which they can get to Cambodia, Bangkok, Bali, etc.
