I got a call from a tuition agency... they said that a parent was willing to take me on to teach her son....
The thing is, he's in Sec 5, and they want me to teach E Maths and Combined Physics/Chem for.... $150/month. The agency said that the parent would be willing to negotiate to pay more if only I had 'more experience' than what I gave in my CV.
I was like.... 'In my CV, I wrote that I have five years' experience in private O Level tuition and one year's experience in teaching NUS engineering undergraduates. Like that also not enough ah?!?!'
Siao.... paying $150/month (~$18/hr) for O Level tuition is already ridiculously low.... but all that experience also not enough?

They're nuts, I tell you! For Upper Sec, $25/hr is the absolute lower limit! Current market rate for that is in fact $30/hr!
